Ingredients

• 1 Pound Ground Beef
• 1 Medium Onion coarsely chopped
• 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
• 1 Cup Lentils washed & drained
• 10 Cups Water
• 3 Medium Potatoes diced
• Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation

• Brown meat and onions, until meat is browned.
• Add lentils and water.
• Cover and cook until lentils are tender about 45 minutes.
• Add potatoes, salt and pepper.
• Cook until potatoes are tender.
• Serve with pita bread. 
Additional Notes
Its a good idea to have multiple pans going at one time to make the cook ... otherwise the 2 hours could turn into a half a day. :)
